About my art journey

I am a self-taught artist from Tampere, Finland. I began painting in 2015, and it quickly became my passion. As my skills developed, I found myself drawn to details, enjoying the focus and calm that come with working on fine elements.

I mainly work with acrylics but like to explore other mediums from time to time. Landscapes are my favourite subject, especially forest paths, which I find intriguing because they can lead us to places that feel familiar or completely new.

Misty, magical forests have become a recurring theme in my work, inspired by the evergreen and spruce tree landscapes around me. Painting these scenes allows me to relax, let my mind wander, and capture the atmosphere of nature.

I believe that life is an adventure and that it’s enough to simply take the first step forward with courage. I hope my paintings reflect this idea and give viewers the same sense of calm and inspiration that I feel while creating them.

Since 2020, I have shared my passion through teaching, guiding students step by step in creating their own paintings. I find it rewarding to see how others take my techniques and transform them into something original. Teaching has become an important part of my artistic journey and a meaningful way to connect with people who share my love for painting.
